The safety and well-being of our patients are of utmost priority. Please take note of the following before visiting our rooms:
If you are symptomatic or have been in contact with a COVID positive patient and require to be tested, you will need to first schedule a telephonic consultation with
Dr Jacobs, thereafter she will email you the necessary forms for testing.
The security personnel at the front gate will monitor entry and take temperatures of all visitors.
Anybody recording a temperature above 37.5 degrees will not be permitted to enter.
Every person entering the centre will need to wear a mask. We will strictly enforce a NO MASK - NO ENTRY policy.
Upon entry, please sanitise your hands with the sanitizer provided at the entrance of the building.
Use a sanitized pen to fill in the form at the entrance and dispose of the pen in the correct jar once done.
No one will be allowed in the waiting areas. Only the person with a purpose for the visit will be able to enter the centre. Anybody accompanying a patient will be required to wait outside in the garden or in their car with the exception of the patient being a minor.
Unfortunately due to the current circumstances, no refreshments, tea or coffee will be served to visitors.
Please adhere to the social distancing measures at all times.
Any person suspected to have contracted Covid-19 will be refused entry onto the premises.
Meticulous attention will be paid to disinfecting surfaces and all high touch areas regularly throughout the day.
The examination bed is covered with disposable linen which will be changed between each patient.
All equipment and instruments used will be disinfected between each patient.
Please ensure that you sanitize your hands with the provided hand sanitiser upon entering the room.
All necessary PPE will be worn by the doctor at all times, additional PPE will be worn during procedures.
Kindly be punctual and on time for your appointments, strict time slots will be given to maintain social distancing. This is also of utmost importance as we require adequate time to disinfect the room between patients.
If you arrive early for your appointment, kindly remain in your car until the doctor is ready to see you.
Speed point machines will be disinfected after every use.
It is recommended that the following patients should not have elective aesthetic procedures done:
Elderly patients over 70
Patients with co-morbidities: diabetes, cardiovascular disease, including hypertension, chronic lung disease, immunodeficiency, active cancer under treatment.
Those with a history of COVID-19 infection within the past 4 weeks.
Any patient with fever, cough, vomiting, diarrhoea or flu-like symptoms.
Any patient who has been exposed to a COVID -19 positive person in the past 2 weeks.
